The Tempe Police Explorers is proud to announce the 5th annual Tempe Police Explorer Competition will be held on April 8th and 9th, 2017.
Due to the complexity and extended duration of each of our events, we require both days to complete the competition. Space is extremely limited. Please reserve your post today!

With unique events like, our Fingerprint Relay, O.O.D.A. Loop Drills, Active Crime Scene Investigation, Fatigue Challenge, The Gauntlet, Move to Cover Shoot, Driving Assessment, and Bike Team Response, our competition provides a challenging, one-of-a-kind, law enforcement experience. Each of our events will test your Explorers’ skills for individual and team awards.
We intend on adding even more events for 2017's competition. Please check back to this page for more updates.

Event Fees will be announced at a later date, and will include participation in all events, t-shirt, and lunches. Due to the complex nature of our events, a minimum of six (6) Explorers with a maximum of ten (10) are required for participation. You may elect to send multiple teams from your post as long as each team is made up of between 6 and 10 Explorers. Please check back to this page, as updated rules, registration paperwork, and deadlines will be added.
